Launched in 2016, it has developed a robust slate of high-profile, commercial content with leading writers, filmmakers, and actors. Nickel City has produced such films as: Runner, starring Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson for Angel Studios; Sunny, starring Angelina Jolie; Solo Mio, starring Kevin James for Angel Studios, Playdate, starring Alan Ritchson for Amazon Prime; Marlowe, starring Liam Neeson; Land of Bad, starring Liam Hemsworth and Russell Crowe; and more.

Mark Fasano

CEO

Mark Fasano is the CEO of Nickel City Pictures. Mark has developed and produced over a two dozen films and recently was a Producer on the upcoming Sunny, starring Angelina Jolie; Runner, starring Alan Ritchson & Owen Wilson; Solo Mio, starring Kevin James; Amazon's Playdate, starring Alan Ritchson & Kevin James; Land of Bad, starring Liam Hemsworth & Russell Crowe and Marlowe, starring Liam Neeson. Mark previously was president of production and PalmStar Media, where he developed and produced Netflix’s True Memoirs of an International Assassin, starring Kevin James; Collateral Beauty, starring Will Smith; American Ultra, starring Jesse Eisenberg & Kristen Steward and John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves.

Prior to 2012, Mark worked with acclaimed writer/producers such as David E. Kelly, Gary Scott Thompson, and Doug Liman at both Universal and Warner Bros. Mark subsequently worked directly with John Herzfeld at New Redemption Pictures where he helped develop and produce two feature films as well as two television series which were sold to the Starz network and HBO in just over a year. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television from The University of California, Los Angeles.


Matthew Alex Goldberg

President of Film & Television

Matthew Alex Goldberg is currently the Vice President of Nickel City Pictures. Matthew oversees the feature and television production slate for Nickel City including projects such as Solo Mio starring Kevin James, All Signs Point To You starring Lana Condor, Randall Park, Jack Whitehall, and Robbie Amell, and PLAYDATE starring Kevin James and Alan Ritchson. He has most recently produced All Signs Point To You, along with executive producing several films such as Solo Mio, Playdate, The Get Out starring Russell Crowe, and Runner starring Owen Wilson and Alan Ritchson. His other credits include Sleepings Dogs starring Russell Crowe and Blood for Dust starring Scott McNairy, Kit Harrington, and Josh Lucas. Matthew previously worked at Davis Entertainment and prior to that was a book coordinator at The Gotham Group helping sell film & television rights.

Emily Hromin

Creative Executive

Emily Hromin is the Creative Executive of Nickel City Pictures, where she helps develop and package material for the film & television slate. Emily is a gratuate of NYU.
